7.0 Contribution in other relevant areas:

7.1 Lobbying for appropriate policies and regulations useful for the expansion of microfinance sector: 

PKSF lobbies with the Government for appropriate policies and regulation for Microfinance Sector. The Government has established an independent “Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA)” for regulation of the Sector. PKSF is an important member of this Authority, and contributing to help the Government to prepare a microfinance-friendly regulatory framework.

7.1  Gender Equality: 

From its very inception PKSF has recognized the fact that without the active participation of women who are 50% of the country's population, any development program would not be able to achieve its objectives. SO, PKSF encouraged its partners to target women in their programs. As a result, more than 90% of the beneficiaries of different programs of its partners are women. PKSF is therefore playing an important role in empowering of women.

7.2  GO-NGO Partnership:

PKSF has very successfully established and developed GO-NGO collaboration in the field of poverty alleviation and employment generation through the provision of implementing different programs including microcredit.
